We create designs for the majority of Intel's products that service server, client, chipset, modem and IOT markets. We supply IP to both internal design teams and external customers. The Toronto design team is looking for talented individuals who wish to be a part of building the Industry's next generation products, with focus on high-speed SerDes. This role is focused on pre-silicon and post-silicon SerDes design validation.
Key Responsibilities:
� Collaborate with design team in order to ensure high quality design
� Characterize, debug and tune SerDes IP in our state of the art lab
� Drive development of python based GUI software for SerDes configuration, debug and testing
� Own AutoRob platform (robotic arm based testing environment) for volume based validation of IPs
Job Requirements: Applicants should have the following qualifications:
� Good fundamental knowledge of electronics and digital hardware concepts
� Assist with the verification of digital hardware blocks used in mixed signal designs
� Strong scripting and/or software development skills including Python and/or Perl
� Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must be enrolled in a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
