High School Homeroom Teacher (Main Teaching Subject: English)

1.Job Description
Prepare and deliver lessons for classes of different ability levels, and prepare students for external examinations;
Mark assignments, provide feedback, maintain records of students' academic progress, and complete learning assessments;
Update subject knowledge, develop curriculum materials, and participate in collaborative lesson planning and classroom decoration;
Manage student behavior in classrooms and on campus, and handle misbehavior appropriately;
Undertake homeroom pastoral duties, supporting students with academic or personal difficulties;
Communicate with parents about progress, and participate in department meetings, parents' evenings, school-wide training and school assemblies;
Organize/participate in extracurricular activities (electives, outings, cultural/sporting events, etc.) and supervise students' evening self-study;
Participate in external accreditation, weekend student recruitment, regular lesson observations and in-service training, and contribute expertise to committee work;
Fulfill other daily tasks assigned by the school.
2.Educational Qualification
(1）Bachelor's degree or above in a related field
(2）Preferable Professional Qualification
Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE);
Master's degree or above in Education or related teaching subject;
Teaching license recognized by the home country's education ministry.
Preferable Experience and Training
Familiar with A-Level syllabus and concept-based teaching methodology;
At least 3 years of high school English teaching experience, with homeroom teacher experience;
Track record of improving students' A-Level academic results.
