Challenging and future-oriented! Responsibility of DI PA SW HZ division worldwide including financial performance (P&L) of all the horizontals. Managing and mentoring a team of Horizontal (HZ) heads, each responsible for a process industry sector identified as strategic by the DI PA SW management team. Ensuring / managing the following for each of the Horizontals (strategic process industry sectors): Holistic, integrated positioning of existing DI PA SW and other relevant Siemens An assessment of the competitor and substitute landscape. An understanding of which solutions are scalable and of high value and which solutions/applications should not be pursued by Siemens due to the associated risk and opportunity cost. Identifying requirements for the further evolution of DI PA SW and other relevant Siemens offerings, through market analysis, industrial advisory boards, etc. Pre-competitive co-creation and co-funding alliances to direct development of solutions with a strong focus on applicability and usability of DI PA SW portfolio elements and associated workflows. Well structured, productive interaction with the relevant VM organisations in Siemens Work with S&M in defining and coordinating sales campaigns including support for regions in form of collateral and training. Support the sales team through business and technical understanding of the process industry sector combined with how to position relevant elements of the DI PA SW broader Siemens portfolio to address customer needs. Gathering customer feedback per process industry sector. Industry expertise advising both service delivery teams and product development teams with key technical, industry specific knowledge. Increase and ensure scalable growth in these industries in close cooperation with PA S and partners. Strong alignment with global roles in the wider DI PA organization responsible for process industry sectors. Alignment with global roles in the DI SW organization responsible for process industry sectors. Close cooperation with product management and portfolio management on customer's requirements and new software capabilities based on the business case. Close interaction with Integration & Services for efficient offering process as well as customize the applications to the customer requirements. Enablement and motivation of managers: coaching of strategic business development skills. Based on many years of management experience in the software environment, optimization of internal processes in the horizontal team and sub-teams. Active support/moderation of strategic relationships with key customers at C-level. Establishment of a professional leadership culture and ensuring long-term development of talented employees at management and employee level. Budget management, team organization and all other tasks as a responsible manager. How do you become part of our team? With a lot of drive and passion! The foundation of your profile is an academic degree in engineering, computer sciences or equivalent qualifications from reputable university or college. As Head of Horizontals worldwide, you are very strategic, conceptual, analytical, and customer-oriented, have a stylish and self-confident appearance. Due to your intercultural managerial skills, you can assert yourself very well and represent the interests of your department. You have very good knowledge in the conception, design, implementation, and improvement of overarching strategies, encompassing portfolio management, pre-competitive industrial alliances and G2M strategies, for one or more process industry sectors. Several years of proven experience in abovementioned conception, design, implementation, and improvement of overarching strategies for one or more process industry sectors. Very good knowledge of the market and its challenges within the area of experience as well as ideally appropriate contacts in the industry up to the management. Very good social skills in building customer relationships as well as high social competence within internal matrix organizations. Efficient task and time management, high result, and quality orientation as well as experience and knowledge of strategic business development approaches. High customer orientation and enthusiasm in the team as well as in the market, a strong power of persuasion, complemented by a high degree of creativity and combined with a proactive decision-making ability. Excellent presentation skills, rounded by fluent level in both English and German.
