Office: Administrative Services Division, New Territories West Cluster
Pay: HK$29,615 – HK$57,621 (HGPS Pt. 13 – 27) per month including Monthly Allowance(see remarks 2)

Responsibilities:
Assist Cluster General Manager (Administrative Services), General Manager (Administrative Services), Senior Hospital Administrator(s) and Senior Executive Officer(s) in day-to-day managerial and administration functions of the Administrative Services Division in one or more of the following areas:
i. Facilities Management
ii. General Administration and Secretariat
iii. Health Information and Records Management
iv. Laundry and Linen Services
v. Planning and Commissioning of new projects/services
vi. Planning and Performance Management
vii. Procurement and Materials Management
viii. Public Affairs and Donation Management
ix. Supporting Services
x. Any other administrative or executive duties as assigned by supervisor

Entry Requirements:
1. A degree from a Hong Kong University; or equivalent; and
2. Fluent Cantonese and good written Chinese.

Preferred Attributes:
1. A university degree or equivalent, preferably with major in communications, public relations, journalism, mass media or marketing
2. At least 2 years experiences in media/public relations/marketing
3. Outgoing, able to work under pressure and multi-tasking.
4. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
5. Outgoing and presentable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Analytical, detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
7. Can handle pressure and meet tight deadlines.
8. Fluent in Putonghua.
9. Proficient in Microsoft Office software and Chinese word processing.

Remarks:
For Serving HA Staff:
1. Selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed term appointment for up to 3 years depending on his/her existing employment terms. Serving contract employees will be offered contract employment with an up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity, subject to satisfactory completion of the contract. Serving permanent employee will be offered fixed term appointment after which the employee may be reverted back to his/her former substantive rank.
2. The offer of salary and allowance (Cash Allowance, Fixed-flexi Allowance or Monthly Allowance) for serving employees upon changes in appointment will be made in accordance with prevailing policies.

For External Applicants:
3. Selected candidate will be offered contract employment for up to 3 years. Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity will be offered, subject to satisfactory completion of the contract.
4. Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply. If selected, the terms and conditions of employment will be offered in accordance with prevailing policies of the Retired and Rehire Mechanism of HA.
