Live - What you will do
Due to an internal move, we’re looking for a new team member to join our fun, inclusive and dynamic national Nephrology/Dermatology Team. In this role, your core focus will be to maximise sales of Amgen's Dermatology and Nephrology products across QLD South and the Northern Territory. Your key customers include Nephrologists, Dermatologists and other related healthcare professional in hospital and specialist settings. This role reports to the National Sales Manager and is a full-time, 12-month contract role.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of Amgen and be involved in a life-changing product launch for patients with Psoriasis. We are also looking for you to take our Nephrology product to the next level with a true account management focus across the public and private markets.
Key Responsibilities include:
Build trusted partnerships with customers and provide differentiated value through promotion of products, education and support. Provide voice of the customer feedback in development of strategy
Collaborate with the National Sales Manager to develop and implement territory plan and key account plans, with ongoing evaluation, tracking and course correction.
Meet customer and territory KPI’s, report customer activity in CRM system and ensure customer profiles are kept up to date
We’re looking for forward thinking, self-motivated individuals focused on developing each account to its fullest potential. Working collaboratively with our Marketing, Medical and Communications Teams, you truly embrace account management principles, understand the important role that each key stakeholder plays and are focused on adding value to both them and their patients.
You will be joining a close-knit, established, experienced and innovative team with a clear track record of customer value creation and success. COVID has seen our ways of working evolve to not only face to face interaction with Health Care Professionals, but also connecting virtually. Patient centricity is our driver, so we’re looking for you to think outside the box, be open to different ways of working and be very comfortable with technology.
As an experienced Hospital/Specialist representative, we’re looking for you to have a demonstrated track record of success in the following areas:
Account management
Business ownership
Project management
Multiple stakeholder engagement
Territory analytics
Accountability

We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The experienced Hospital/Specialist Representative we seek is a collaborative, communicative, tech-savvy and innovative individual with these attributes/qualifications:
Field Sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry within the Hospital/Specialist environment is essential, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding KPI targets
Previous experience selling Dermatology or Nephrology products at Hospital/Specialist level will be highly regarded
Tertiary qualifications in science or business and completion of Medicines Australia certification
Account Management/Development mindset - proactive self-management in owning your business and determining results
Valid driver's licence, residency and Work rights in Australia required
