Job Description

As a restaurant receptionist at the hotel, you will be the person at the main entrance of the assigned restaurant and will be in charge of first greeting and assisting customers arriving at the restaurant. You will provide a warm welcome and attention making customers feel unique and valued.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Greet customers graciously upon their arrival at the restaurant.
  • Consistently provide professional, warm and friendly service. 
  • Manage the entire process of table reservations for the assigned restaurant either by phone, email or in person, always taking into account customer requests.
  • Accompany customers to their table, offer them the menu and introduce the waiter who will serve them.
  • Follow up on tables that become vacant and become available again for new customers.
  • Comply with the establishment's policies and procedures.  
  • Be informed of what is happening in the hotel in order to be able to inform customers if necessary.
  • All similar and/or equivalent functions, inherent to the professional performance itself. 
  • Ensure that the fire procedure and protocols of Occupational Risk Prevention of the hotel are complied with in the department.
  • Ensure that any suspicious activity or anything unusual must be reported immediately.
  • All those analogous and/or equivalent, inherent to the professional performance itself.
  • Respect all measures and protocols of occupational risk prevention, social distancing, cleaning and disinfection.


YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:

  • Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, agility and accuracy. 
  • Organized and disciplined. 
  • Team player. 
  • Pressure tolerance and ability to multi-task.
  • High level of English & Spanish. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
  • Previous experience in the sector and in a similar position.
