Hotel Accountant

Rich history meets modern elegance in the heart of Sydney at The Porter House Hotel Sydney – MGallery. This redevelopment of the iconic 1876 masterpiece is looking for a superstar to join the team, the Hotel Accountant.

The Role 

•  This position is responsible for assisting the Financial Controller in the daily operation of the Finance department by providing accurate, relevant and timely reporting

• Engage with Department Managers to develop effective measures to enhance their department’s profitability 

• Monitoring and checking of all audits relating to financial standards and procedures

Knowledge & Experience 

• Excellent internal & external communication skills 

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and frameworks

• Previous knowledge of Sun Systems, Opera and Purchase Plus is an advantage

• Strong organizational skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines & work well under pressure
