We are currently seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team at Ibis Styles Brisbane Elizabeth Street as a full time Hotel Accountant.  Your role will be to provide support to the Financial Controller managing daily accounting and reporting functions. This includes meeting statutory requirements by providing accurate information via financial management and corporate reporting, budgets, forecasts, evaluating and improving operational systems and procedures.

The Candidate:

This hands on role requires strong analytical and numerical skills, possessing high attention to detail.  Experience in hotel financial management with SUN systems and Opera as well as successful completion of a recognised tertiary qualification is advantageous. 

We require an enthusiastic professional with proven organisational and communication skills and the ability to effectively time manage large volume workloads to meet strict deadlines. You will be required to take the lead in the absence of the Financial Controller.
