Closer to home, and centrally located in the heart of the Sydney CBD, The Accor Salter Brothers Hotel Portfolio is now recruiting multiple roles for their newly created hub which will oversee the following hotels: 

1. Mercure Wynyard
2. Ibis Styles Sydney Central
3. Mercure Sydney Bankstown
4. Mercure Sydney Macquarie Park
5. Mercure Sydney Blacktown
6. Mercure Sydney Manly Warringah
7. Mercure Melbourne Southbank
8. Mercure Newcastle
9. Mercure Perth on Hay

What will you be doing?

• Ensure accurate calculation and timely payment of all necessary taxes etc.
• Management of balance sheet for portfolio of hotels
• Prepare and process numerous portfolio-wide journals for month-end.
• Engage with Hotel & Department Managers to develop effective measures to enhance their department’s profitability
• Monitoring and checking of all audits relating to financial standards and procedures
• Ensure that trading terms for all Vendors, including Accor, are respected by the SB2 Portfolio of Hotels
• Reconcile all payments to Trial Balance, General Ledger, Balance Sheet and/or supplier’s statements
• Prepare and process numerous portfolio-wide journals for month-end

Your Skills and experience include:

• Tertiary qualification in Business and/or Accounting.
• Minimum 2 years previous experience in a similar role.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent internal & external communication skills 
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and frameworks
• Understanding and appreciation of Hotel Portfolio arrangements
