Housekeeping Linen Room Clerk

Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
• Standing and walking throughout the day
• Linen Clerk Duties also assigned
• Answering phones in a courteous, professional manner
• Computer knowledge
• Printing daily reports
• Opening and closing Royal Service Tickets (guest requests and needs)
• Dispatching the queue rooms, changing room statuses, placing rooms out of order
• Update White Board Numbers
• Verify Out of Services
• Create Task Sheets
• Verify Overnight Laundry is Delivered
• Send Show-Room Email
• Prepare Fairmont Fits
• Prepare Schedule for the Following Day
• Constantly update the Housekeeping Call Log
• Schedule reviews
• Updates changes to schedule as necessary based on business needs
• Daily preparation of room attendant boards

Your experience and skills include:

• Previous experience is an asset
• Opera knowledge and experience is required

Physical Aspects of Position:
Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:

• Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
• Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
