Housekeeping Porter
To assist the housekeeping department in being able to function smoothly and efficiently. To work as part of a team dealing with the cleaning and preparation of linen items.

What you will be doing:

• To stock and maintain clean and tidy the RA stores and the back stores
• To provide support through maintaining linen stock levels and replenishing amenities on RA trolleys
• Responsible for minibar stock counts and room replenishment
• To recycle all rubbish appropriately
• To ensure tasks asked of you by the housekeeping and laundry management team are completed to the highest standard
• To ensure any stained linen is communicated efficiently and removed from room circulation until re-cleaned
• To handle guest inquiries in a professional and polite manner
• The folding of towels and linen, as needed
• Comply with hotel policy and procedure regarding Fire, Health and Safety and Hygiene.
• Other duties as specified by the Housekeeping/Laundry Management team

Your experience and skills include:

• Previous Laundry experience is an asset
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to focus on guest needs

Your team and working environment:

• Working a fast-paced team environment
• Shifts will be during the day and weekend
• Must be eligible to live and work in the UK
