As a leader in the housekeeping department, you will oversee the housekeeping activities and be responsible for daily cleaning needs, observe high standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel, following the cleaning schedule, conduct guestroom as well as public area inspection.

What you will be doing:

• Overseeing day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping department to ensure that guestrooms and facility are clean and orderly while following the hotel’s standards
• Monitor labor costs while ensuring effective scheduling and department productivity
• Assist with the preventive maintenance program while working with the Chief Engineer
• Ensure effective communication, including coaching and performance management
• Follow departmental policies and procedures

Your experience and skills include:

• Having a minimal of 2 (two) years of experience in the same field preferably in the hospitality industry
• Effective time management skills with the ability to coordinate numerous tasks simultaneously
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Computer knowledge, particularly POS (Opera) and Microsoft Office an asset
• Hands on management style with ability to prioritize and lead through example
• Excellent interpersonal skill, with communication ability
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required
