Job Summary
As the HRBP for Factory Operations, you will act as the strategic HR partner to factory management, ensuring alignment between workforce needs and production goals. You will handle labor relations, compliance, talent development, and employee welfare in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic HR Support for Factory Operations:
Partner with factory managers to align HR strategies with production targets, efficiency, and safety goals.
Analyze workforce data (attrition, absenteeism, productivity) to recommend solutions.
2. Labor Relations & Compliance:
Ensure strict adherence to Thai labor laws, safety regulations (e.g., OSHA standards), and company policies.
Resolve employee grievances, disciplinary issues, and union relations (if applicable).
Lead investigations into workplace incidents or misconduct.
3. Talent Management & Workforce Planning:
Oversee recruitment for blue-collar and supervisory roles, collaborating with local agencies/vocational schools.
Implement retention programs for factory staff (e.g., skill development, career paths).
Manage performance reviews, promotions, and succession planning for line leaders.
4. Training & Development:
Identify skill gaps and organize training (e.g., technical upskilling, safety protocols, leadership for supervisors).
Promote a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.
5. Employee Welfare & Engagement:
Drive initiatives to improve working conditions, morale, and teamwork on the factory floor.
Organize employee activities (e.g., health checks, team-building, safety campaigns).
Monitor accommodation/transportation benefits (if provided).
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.
Experience:
5+ years as an HRBP or HR Manager in a manufacturing/factory setting (Thailand experience required).
Proven track record in handling labor law compliance, shift workers, and union negotiations(preferred).
Skills:
Fluent in Chinese! Thai and English (written/spoken), Ethnic Chinese in Thailand or Chines living in Thailand is preferred!
Strong knowledge of Thai Social Security, labor disputes, and factory safety standards.
Hands-on experience with HRIS, time-attendance systems, and payroll software.
Ability to work on-site in a factory environment and engage with all employee levels.
