JOB PURPOSE

 

The primary purpose of the position is to support supply chain operations through the creation and scheduling of deliveries, shipments, and production transfer orders for all outbound and inbound distribution channels including wholesale, retail, digital, and omni-channel operations.
This role is additionally responsible for inter-related activities such as overseeing inbound and outbound traffic, assisting with the maintenance of accurate inventories on-site, and contributing to the continuous improvement efforts of the operation. A successful Hub Shared Services Coordinator can demonstrate competency and will operate intermittently in all areas of the warehouse, including digital and non-digital businesses.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Facilitate warehouse operations in achieving on time delivery of all scheduled shipments
  • Ensure all standard operations procedures are up to date and work on improvements on the processes related to both inbound and outbound merchandise flows
  • Maintain ongoing historical statistics of critical distribution center metrics
  • Assist functional area staff with questions related to SAP and/ or reporting
  • Liaise with the distribution center to ensure they are fully aware of inbound/ outbound deliveries and assist in their capacity and resource planning
  • Liaise effectively with external partners to provide information as requested for expedited delivery requests, carrier pick-ups, and daily activity reports             
  • Ensure daily delivery creation is complete and accurate for the hub
  • Responsible for updating and distributing daily KPI reports to appropriate stakeholders
  • Responsible to ensure that the data required for management reports is updated and in-line with requirements
  • Assist in preparation and execution of forecasts and budgets
  • Responsible for executing purchase orders for the warehouse for items including office supplies, packaging, temporary labour contracts, and transportation needs
  • Assist with training new members of the team when required
  • Ensure team work across all critical support areas of the distribution center is maintained to be able to cover other team members when necessary
  • Preparation of ad hoc reports for management 
  • Assist with any other ad-hoc projects or tasks as they arise

  • Experience with SAP
  • Detail Oriented
  • Flexible Schedule
  • Advanced level Microsoft Office skills, including Excel
  • Excellent team player able to partner with various levels of the organization 
  • Ability to communicate with a wide range of personalities and in an articulate manner 
  • Able to work in a stressful and lively environment, with constant interruptions, whilst maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
  • Requires availability within the site’s hours of operation including weekends
