Reporting to the HR Country Lead Poland, you will be accountable for HR Business Partner support to IT, Procurement and some of our Commercial and Supply Chain teams in Poland, as well as leading our HRBP community, either directly or indirectly.
You will support the Head of HR Poland, to develop and implement the Poland people strategy and plan, as well as developing and improving local HR policies and procedures. You will deputise for the Head of HR Poland in Poland Senior Management team meetings and interactions, and with the Trade Union and Works Council, when necessary and also work with our global HR Centre of Expertise teams to implement global offerings in Poland, as well as working with the global HR Business Partnering teams, to ensure a seamless employee experience for the supported business areas.
What you’ll do:
Support the development and implementation of the Poland country people strategy aligned with the current and long-term business objectives
Work with the HR Country Lead Poland, supporting the Poland Senior Leader Team, acting as a business advisor, providing assistance with business planning, identifying HR implications and providing recommendations to support business objectives
Support in communicating and enabling change within Poland or Warsaw site
Provide HRBP support to Commercial (not Marketing Company) & Operations teams located within Poland
Manage a complex Senior Stakeholder Management Group – Commercial (BBU & OBU) & Operations (IT, Procurement, PT&D and Supply Chain)
Work with Global HRBP’s in supported Commercial and Operations areas to ensure a seamless and joined up approach between global and Poland
Supports the monitoring of the strength of talent pipeline in Poland and is directly involved in recruitment strategies & talent initiatives to ensure the business is well positioned to deliver against its strategic objectives
You may support SET-area Strategic Workforce Planning
Line managers junior HRBP’s and HR Solution Partners and ensures resources are utilised correctly to deliver HR service and successful execution of people priorities
Lead Poland HRBP community and supports the capability build within the HR team to deliver against objectives and build the HR talent pipeline
Coach and deliver effect performance to direct and indirect reports creating a supportive work environment where everyone has the opportunity to fulfil their potential
You may oversee the deployment and/or tailoring of global HR programmes to ensure these align to Poland’s requirements, including talent management, reward, performance development, recruitment, training and development and HR service delivery
You may contribute to the development of AZ wide HR policy and process at Group level and supports in ensuring global standards are adhered to within Poland
Essential requirements for the role:
Qualified to degree level in a relevant subject area
Mastery of HR area and multi-disciplinary experience (cross-functional or functional)
Experience in a senior HR role
Strong HR business partnering experience
Understanding of Polish employee relations/union regulations
Strategic thinker, able to translate complex business plans into actionable people plans
Strong commercial and analytical skills
Outstanding influencer, able to deliver results without direct command and control
Desirable requirements:
Experience of working in a global organisation
Evidence of successful leadership of major change
Experience of working within Life Sciences
Experience of working in/with R&D, Commercial and/or corporate functions
