What you will be doing:

  • Maintains a high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all aspects of job performance in accordance with our Code of Ethics and Human Resources Policies, Procedures and Standards
  • Assists with a portion of the colleague-level recruitment at the hotel
  • Answer a wide variety of inquiries from colleagues and from prospective employees, in person and over the telephone
  • Performs administrative tasks, such as writing job offers, filing, scheduling, entering new hires into HRIS system, submitting
    transportation orders, and conducting data collection projects
  • Assists in the administration of staff relations activities such as the Anniversary Awards Reception, Children’s Christmas party, Be Our Guest program, United Way campaign, staff parties, etc. as required 
  • Assists in maintaining a confidential organised filing system for employee files, correspondence, policies, standards, and regulations
  • Adheres to and promotes all company Health & Safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
    Other duties as assigned

     

Your experience and skills include:

  • Previous experience administrative experience required
  •  2+ years college and/or Human Resources or related degree/certificate completed or in progress preferred
  •  Must be able to remain focused and calm and helpful in a busy, fast-paced office environment
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills, very detailed orientated and a proven ability to meet deadlines, be accountable and help others be accountable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated abilities in Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint
  • A passion for service, team building and helping others be successful

     

Physical Requirements Include:

  • Constant sitting, standing and walking throughout shift
