We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team! Remote work is eligible during the pandemic for candidates within a 80 km radius of Burlington. We have an exciting new opportunity for a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team. As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) you will be responsible for providing HR leadership and support to your assigned client groups, with a focus on driving exceptional talent acquisition processes and enhancing organizational effectiveness. In this role, you will work with the Human Resources Manager (HRM) to deploy HR programs aligned to our integrated talent strategy and organizational goals. We are looking for a team player, whom is comfortable wearing multiple hats, excited to explore creative and innovative solutions to problems, interested in building and maintaining strong relationships, and focused on delivering an exceptional employee experience. Role Responsibilities: Support the life cycle of the recruitment process for all assigned functions ensuring an exceptional candidate experience. Increase our brand awareness for top talent, lead the functional intern program and attend recruiting events (job fairs, industry and networking events) as appropriate. Assist team members in understanding and applying HR tools to improve organization performance through enhanced employee engagement and leader effectiveness. Support local Inclusive Eaton Resource Groups (iERGs) and Inclusion and Diversity initiatives. Partner with business leaders to ensure performance management tools are fully utilized to support people development and to strengthen organizational capability. Develop HR communications and support employee engagement activities / team building events / volunteer opportunities. Promote and support positive employee relations and an environment of open communication and trust. Conduct employee information and training sessions and participate in functional team meetings. Champion the use of HR technology, including the use of internal talent systems and applications, learning / development programs, and digital / cloud-based platforms. Proactively prepare and present regular HR reports, incorporating key HR metrics to support strategic initiatives. Manage day-to-day operational and administrative components of the HR function and multiple projects in alignment with organizational goals. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience. Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates residing within 80 kilometers of Burlington, Ontario will be considered. Preferred Qualifications: CHRP Certification. Bilingual in English and French. Experience supporting remote teams. About you: Detail focused, highly organized, and can easily manage a variety of programs and tasks without sacrificing quality. Highly effective communicator with strong listening skills and quick to respond to business needs. Experienced in recruiting and selection activities for all levels of employment. Strong analytical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Able to make recommendations using sound, independent judgment. You have excellent computer skills and possess a high-level proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Cloud applications. Experienced in handling confidential and sensitive information.
