Job Description

Location: Sheung Wan

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, designing and implementing internal staff training programmes;
  • process applications and make recommendation for sponsorships/ reimbursements for staff training programmes;
  • assist in planning and compiling the annual budget of staff training and development;
  • maintain the staff training system(s) with accurate and updated information and follow up with the periodic utilization reports of annual staff training budget and evaluation;
  • explore and coordinate in building new technologies/digital platforms for facilitating and enhancing the flexibility of staff training applications; and
  • provide administrative support to the superiors in the review of staff training policies and procedures as well as ad hoc projects as assigned.

 

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A recognized degree or equivalent;
  • Grade D or above in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in the HKCEE or equivalent;
  • preferably 1 year experience in training administration and relevant system management;
  • proficiency in English and Chinese, and preferably Putonghua;
  • good communication and interpersonal skills; and
  • ability to work independently with initiative and a strong sense of responsibility.

Compensation and employment terms:

The successful candidate will initially be offered a 3-year contract with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave,medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
