Eaton’s Electrical Division is currently seeking an HR Generalist to join our team. This position is based in Santa Ana, CA. Position Overview: This position ensures ownership of quality across all manufacturing areas to reduce errors, increase quality performance and reduce cost of non-conformance by leading the greater quality team for the Santa Ana facilities as an operations leadership team member. In this function you will: Assist in strategic and tactical human resources activities, implementations, projects, integration items, events and processes for the Santa Ana operations facilities. Guide, mentor and coach operations leaders regarding policies, practices, laws and regulations to ensure compliance with local and governmental regulatory requirements as well as Eaton policies, practices, aspirational goals and leadership attributes. Facilitate the design & implementation of HR workstreams to accompany operations footprint projects Assist in staffing and talent acquisition plans to align to business needs Coach and influence leaders to improve performance and leader effectiveness Ensure effective training and communication processes and programs to meet current and future organizational needs Lead and coach others to utilize effective change management tools Coordinate disability claims, leaves of absences, and workers compensation claims with HR Services, their party administrator and other stakeholders as needed. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR in lieu of Bachelor's Degree, High School Diploma/GED with a minimum 3 years’ experience in a Human Resources position Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in psychology, business administration or human resources Master’s Degree Bilingual English - Spanish, Vietnamese, or Cambodian 2 years of HR experience in a plant or operations environment 3+ years of progressive HR experience preferred Position Criteria: Ability to influence and partner with stakeholders independently Strong coaching and facilitation skills Effective analytical and problem-solving skills Accountable and action-oriented; ability to drive change and business results Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills across all organization levels We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
