Job Description
Job summary: Provide Human Resources leadership in Montrottier. Guide, direct and administers Human Resources Management, policies and processes to achieve corporate and site objectives. Responsible for organizational capability; cultural and organizational effectiveness; assessment and selection practices; performance management; coaching, consulting and facilitating; employee communications; training and development; legal compliance and labor relations; compensation. Develop and maintain a positive employee relations environment by adherence to Eaton’s Values, Ethics and Philosophies and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations relating to employment practices and division/corporate guidelines. The HRM is responsible for plant and non-plant functions located in France. Essential Functions: - Act as business partner, strategic solution provider, advisor, and counselor for the leadership team. - Drive standard and consistent HR policies and practices aligned with Eaton. - Foster changes in the organization to facilitate cultural change of Montrottier towards the automotive mindset. - Provide advanced coaching, consulting and facilitation to functional leaders. Provide guidance and direction on complex business and HR issues. - Create a positive employee relations culture. - Align and act as role model and sponsor for Eaton Values and Philosophy. - Ensure organizational practices align with the Eaton philosophy. - Act as a center of excellence in training, development, compensation management, employee engagement and performance management. - Build organizational capability to meet the current and future needs of the business. - Establish and maintain open lines of communications with executives and managers at various levels to foster understanding, gain support and initiate programs and improvements. - Manage relations with staff representatives and representative bodies (Staff Representatives, Works Council, Safety & Working Conditions Committee), including social agreement negotiations, chairing meetings, drafting agreements for signature, etc. - Develops and maintains relations with local public authorities (town councils, prefecture, UIMM (Union of Metallurgy Industries), the Regional Directorate of Infrastructure (DDE), the Regional Directorate for Industry, Research and the Environment (DRIRE), etc.). - Maintains relations with the Labor Inspectorate and the work doctor - Act as a sponsor on Inclusion & Diversity activities - Efficiently direct and coordinate the recruitment, selection and promotion processes; Take proactive action to ensure a diverse candidate pool and ensure we are upgrading the talent in the organization to successfully achieve eMobility France strategy - Administer compensation programs to ensure competitive pay practices through systems that reward superior employee performance - Ensure that employment actions comply with local laws. - Lead or participate in Group or Division HR initiatives; Participate in special projects and task groups as required Specific duties: - Manage WC matters and prepare input for WC matters - Co-lead with HRBP a HR project regarding a new Collective Agreement - Participate in LTM meetings - Initiate discussions and manage actions aimed at reviewing, clarifying and/or establishing HR processes - Review existing remuneration schemes and initiate appropriate actions - Manage the hiring plan and make sure that stakeholders received regular updates - Initiate, participate, and or facilitate weekly meetings with finance, engineering - Conduct HR tier meeting - Participate in monthly meetings with other Eaton HR teams in France - Participate in monthly EBS all project review, supervise the execution of MTT’s EBS project "attract and retain talent" - Supervise the execution of MTT’s survey action plan - Conduct 1:1s with HRBP and Karine 1:1 should be also focused on HRBP’s development plan - Initiate, participate, and or facilitate monthly all hands meeting - Lead annual negotiations of salaries NAU - Conduct Gemba walks - Manage existing employment contracts incl. terminations - Conduct disciplinary investigations and actions The above should not be treated as a closed lists of duties and may change depending on the site needs and supervisor’s directions Qualifications Education level required: Master Degree in Law /Economics or equivalent Years and area of experience required: 7/10 years in Manufacturing HR environment Technical knowledge: Industrial relations, Employee relations, Labour law and litigation, Quality requirements (e.g. IATF, ISO...), basic EHS Matters, Lean Manufacturing, development and C&B policies Soft skills: Communication skills, Leadership style, Professional standing, Managerial skills, negotiation skills, Fluent professional English Eaton is an intelligent power management company dedicated to improving the quality of life and protecting the environment for people everywhere.
