Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION Responsible for assisting the HR Manager with all activities related to HR to support the organization, including recruitment, organization development, employee relations, compensation initiatives and HR measurements in purpose of supporting the Juarez, MX plant. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Lead employee initiatives such as Eaton Philosophy Work Practices (Communications, Rewards, Performance Management, Employee Selection, Training, Employee Involvement, Work Practices). Assist managers and employees in understanding and applying HR tools to improve organization performance through enhanced employee engagement and manager effectiveness while ensuring legal compliance. Lead implementation of strategic initiatives to build organizational capability by attracting, developing and retaining top talent. Implement and manage training programs, such as new employee orientation, front line leadership, selection and assessment training, and other key training initiatives while evaluating and revising programs as necessary. Monitor and maintenance of corporate metrics, such as Retention, Turnover, Attendance, Casual Absenteeism, etc. Provide support to both US & MX National employees. Recruitment, Sourcing & Selection of production personnel, including interviewing, reference checking, processing and orientation. Performs special projects as assigned by the HR Manager. Qualifications SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or related field. Master’s degree preferred. 3-5 years’ experience in Human Resources. Fully Bilingual (English/Spanish). Strong leadership, coaching & influcence management skills. Superior knowledge of the HR function and significant experience with organizational effectiveness. Knowledge of US & Mexican Labor Law preferred. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Cumplir con los requerimientos de la política de EHS. Contribuir para el logro de los objetivos y metas ambientales y de seguridad en su área de responsabilidad. Apoyo para mantener el S.A.A. para el cuidado del medio ambiente y dar cumplimiento a los requerimientos que le apliquen. Llevar a cabo las actividades relacionadas a EHS que le correspondan. Reportar cualquier condición de EHS de riesgo/insegura que detecte a EHS o su supervisor para seguimiento. Conocer los aspectos ambientales e impactos de su actividad y aplicar los controles operacionales aplicables a su puesto (Separar y depositar en los contenedores que corresponda los residuos de basura común, papel reciclable, botes de aluminio, cartuchos vacíos de tóner y tinta; reportar fugas de agua y gas, reducir consumo de agua y energía y reducir generación de residuos) Conocer y asegurar que el personal a su cargo aplique los controles operacionales que apliquen a sus areas de responsabilidad que puedan impactar a los recursos naturales. Completar los entrenamientos de EHS que le sean asignados (Entrenamiento General de MESH).
