Eaton’s Commercial Residential and Distributions Solutions Division (CRDS) is seeking a Human Resources Supervisor for its Satellites Business Unit. This position will be located in Charlotte, NC. Position Overview: In this role, you will partner with the HR Manager to develop plans and programs to ensure the most effective utilization of human resources via staffing, employee relations, engagement/ culture activities, compliance, and safety to support the Satellites Business Unit objectives. In this function you will: Partner with the Satellites Business Unit leadership and align HR functional activities to the strategic and operational imperatives of the organization Build organizational capabilities and effectiveness through training, staffing, onboarding and communications actions across the Satellites Business Unit Influence and create an inclusive and trusting culture through inclusion / diversity, employee engagement / culture, wellness and recognition initiatives to employees at all levels of the organization Grow pipelines of diverse talent at all levels through organizational development activities, resource / critical skill planning, and goal setting Coach, mentor and influence leaders utilizing experience, employee feedback, and reflections from Eaton’s leadership development tools and processes Communicate, analyze and connect trends / insights with strategic business and HR activities to drive improvement in areas of responsibility Other functions as assigned When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we — as individuals and as a company — are stronger. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Minimum two (2) years of experience in human resources Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future Relocation assistance will be offered to candidates living outside a 50-mile radius of Charlotte, NC Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree in human resources, organizational development, organizational behavior, or industrial / labor relations preferred PHR, SPHR or other associated HR accreditations preferred 3-5 years of experience in human resources in a manufacturing environment preferred Position Criteria Knowledge and understanding of state and federal regulations with respect to labor laws: EEO/AA, Title VII, FLMA, ADA, Worker’s Compensation, OSHA, OFCCP PC skills and solid/effective knowledge of Taleo, Oracle, Excel, Word and Power Point Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and make decisions independently Superior listening, verbal and written communication and human relations skills Ability to travel via airplane and other methods up to 50% of your time Ability to assess talent and use recruitment tools (e.g. Interviews, assessments) to assess capability of candidates Must have strong conflict resolution skills, leadership skills and facilitation skills Basic Knowledge of business strategy, financial planning and operations management Ability to communicate / execute / influence remotely We provide benefits that are industry competitive and focused on employee well-being.
