Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:50 PM

--Recognized teaching license (PGCE/QTS/State license or equivalent) OR Master’s in Education or in humanities subjects

Job Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and teach a dynamic and interdisciplinary colloquy course within the Global Intellectual Perspectives (GIP) program, focusing on core themes in the Humanities, Social Studies, and/or History.

Facilitate student-centered, discussion-based (colloquy-style) seminars that foster critical thinking, analytical reading, persuasive writing, and respectful debate on complex ideas and texts.

Create a syllabus that integrates primary and secondary sources from a global and comparative perspective, encouraging students to examine human experiences, societies, and historical developments across cultures and eras.

Develop and implement authentic assessments, including essays, research projects, presentations, and participatory evaluations, that measure students' conceptual understanding and communicative skills.

Provide consistent, constructive feedback on student work and maintain open channels of communication to support academic growth and intellectual curiosity.

Collaborate actively with fellow GIP colloquy teachers across disciplines to ensure coherence within the program and to contribute to curriculum development and pedagogical innovation.

Participate in departmental and program meetings, student advising, and the broader academic life of the institution.

Stay current with scholarly developments in relevant fields and best practices in humanities pedagogy and liberal arts education.
