This person will be responsible for:

• Architects, designs, and provides technical oversight and direction of the development of Intel cloud software products including system software, frameworks, protocols, algorithms, and applications, as well as software structure and validation direction.

• Researches and designs optimal endtoend cloud computing software solutions for cloud, cloud native, orchestration, microservices, and/or distributed computing.

• Engages with Hyperscale Cloud Service Provider to understand use cases, participates in open source and standardization industry work to influence architectures and optimize software, and interacts with technologists and product/product managers across Intel to evaluate feasibility of requirements and determine priorities for development.

• Makes highlevel design choices focused on workload performance, manageability, scalability, usability, resiliency, availability, security, and/or safety for the software structure, protocols, and algorithms.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications The candidate should possess:

• Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of applicable industrial experience, or Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.

• 12+ years of applicable industrial experience.5+ years of experience with power and performance measurement, software optimization, and silicon/system level debug.

• 5+ years of experience collaborating with cloud service providers as well as strategic cloud customersPreferred Qualifications.

• 5+ years of experience and knowledge on the workload performance/power and total cost ownership optimization at Server, Rack and Datacenter Fleet.

• 5+ years of experience with ITP and Cscript development5+ years of experience with PythonSV and/or programming with Python.Experience related to CPU flows.

• Experience at model-based problem solving that enable the effective investigation and narrow-down of complex issues.Experience in Cloud Native software and Cloud operations models
