Position: Homeroom Teacher
Expected Start Date: August 26, 2026

Core Work Overview
Class Configuration: Small-class teaching (max 10–13 students per class) with three age groups:
✅ Baby Class (1.5–2 years old) | ✅ PN Level (2–3 years old) | ✅ K1 (3–4 years old)
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday (weekends off), no mandatory overtime
Daily Working Hours: 08:00–12:00, 14:00–17:10 (8 hours/day, ≤40 hours/week)
Teaching Load: 2–3 age-appropriate lessons daily (integrating Phonics, IB inquiry-based learning, and play-based activities)
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with IB PYP principles and the school’s systematic curriculum, tailoring teaching methods to meet the developmental needs of 1.5–4-year-old children.
Establish and maintain a safe, respectful, and collaborative classroom environment that fosters children’s social-emotional growth, independence, and love for exploration.
Implement effective classroom management strategies, guide positive student behavior, and build trusting relationships with young learners.
Systematically document, assess, and review students’ learning progress; provide personalized feedback to support their intellectual, emotional, and physical development.
Participate in school-wide teaching research, curriculum optimization, and themed events (e.g., cultural festivals, parent-child workshops).
Collaborate with parents through regular communication (parent-teacher meetings, progress reports, one-on-one consultations) to build a strong home-school partnership.
Work closely with teaching assistants and the academic team to ensure the smooth operation of daily classroom activities and the implementation of teaching standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
Native English speaker with clear, standard pronunciation and excellent verbal/written communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree or above; majors in Education, Early Childhood Education, Psychology are highly preferred.
Hold relevant professional qualifications: Valid early childhood teaching certification, TEFL (120+ hours), TESOL, CELTA, or IB PYP certification is a plus.
At least 2 years of full-time teaching experience with young children (1.5–4 years old); experience in Phonics or IB PYP teaching is strongly preferred.
Passionate about early childhood education—energetic, patient, responsible, and able to connect authentically with young learners.
