Position: IB MYP / DP Physics Teacher

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated IB MYP/DP Physics Teacher to join our international faculty team in Ningbo. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Physics and experience teaching within the IB curriculum framework, with a passion for inspiring inquiry-based and concept-driven learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach IB MYP and DP Physics in alignment with IB philosophy and assessment criteria.

Design and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.

Prepare students for IBDP internal and external assessments.

Participate in collaborative curriculum planning and departmental meetings.

Support students’ academic and personal development through advisory or pastoral roles.

Contribute to the school community through co-curricular or extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or above in Physics, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).

Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Physics at the secondary level.

Experience in IB MYP and/or IBDP teaching is required.

Native-level English proficiency or equivalent.

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
