About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and innovative Visual Arts educator to join our Primary Years Programme (PYP) team. The successful candidate will inspire young learners to explore, create, and express themselves through art, fostering an inquiry-based classroom environment aligned with the IB philosophy. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher to contribute to a dynamic arts programme within a reputable international school community.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging, inquiry-driven Visual Arts lessons for PYP students.
Develop a curriculum that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and intercultural understanding.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Collaborate effectively with homeroom teachers and the PYP team to integrate transdisciplinary themes.
Manage classroom resources and contribute to displaying student work within the school community.
Engage in ongoing professional development and school-wide initiatives.
Essential Requirements:
A bachelor's degree or higher in Visual Arts, Art Education, or a directly related field.
A proven track record of career stability and a commitment to long-term contributions within a school community.
Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and concept-driven art education.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse international setting.
