Job Description: PYP Coordinator (Primary Years Programme)
School type：An International School for expatriate children in Hong Kong.

Position Overview
The school is seeking a dynamic and experienced PYP Coordinator to lead and further develop the Primary Years Programme. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience within the PYP framework, a passion for inquiry-based learning, and the proven ability to support teachers in delivering a high-quality, student-centred curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the implementation, development, and review of the PYP curriculum across the primary school.

Support and mentor PYP teachers in planning, teaching, and assessment aligned with IB standards and practices.

Facilitate professional development and collaborative planning sessions for primary teaching staff.

Ensure effective communication regarding programme development and student learning among the PYP team, school leadership, and parents.

Oversee the PYP evaluation and authorisation processes in collaboration with the IB.

Foster a culture of inquiry, international-mindedness, and holistic education within the primary years.


Essential Requirements:
- Teaching certificate required.
-10 years of independent classroom teaching experience preferred, with a minimum of 5 years within a PYP setting.
-Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills.
-Ability to work effectively within a multicultural environment.

Remuneration & Benefits (Estimated at Current Exchange Rates)
Salary Structure
Annual Base Salary:

HKD 620,000

≈ RMB 570,000 (at 1 HKD ≈ 0.92 CNY)

≈ USD 79,500 (at 1 HKD ≈ 0.128 USD)

Additional Benefits for International Hires
Housing Allowance:

HKD 12,000 – 18,000 per month

≈ RMB 11,000 – 16,600 per month

≈ USD 1,540 – 2,300 per month
