Library Teacher Requirements
Highly knowledgeable about literature for young children in Chinese and English
Effective literacy instruction; experience as a reading teacher in primary grades strongly preferred
Profound commitment to ensuring and nurturing children's wellbeing
Highly effective collaborator, eager to listen deeply, contribute to a team and achieve goals together
Dedication to learning, reflecting and developing the craft of teaching
Very resourceful and adaptive, eager to embrace constant change, growth and learning
Bachelor’s degree; graduate degree in education or related field is ideal, library media certification preferred
Proficiency in English

. BE degree or above preferred.(Major in Education)
. Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
. Education or training in a STEM discipline with broad understanding across all areas of STEM education.
. Knowledge of the current landscape of formal and/or informal STEM education.
. Demonstrated success managing, scaling, developing and evaluating program models, and operationalizing programs resulting in measurable success and program growth.
. Experience initiating and piloting new program ideas.
. Demonstrated ability to lead, collaborate and establish effective transdisciplinary relationships.
. Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and Chinese.
. Personal qualities of integrity, enthusiasm, resilience and team spirit.
