About the Role: IBDP English Literature Teacher
We are currently looking for an experienced IBDP English A or B teacher to join our strong and passionate team. We are looking for passionate, experienced educators who can contribute meaningfully to our rigorous academic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Teach IB English A: Language & Literature or English B, or English Literature, depending on the position
Independently plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons
Familiarize with and meet the requirements of our school curriculum and IB framework.
 Teach across two to three different grade levels and potentially work with students in multiple curriculum tracks (IB, AP, A-Level)
 Conduct 16–20 classes per week (each class is 45 minutes), plus 2–3 morning reading sessions weekly (15 minutes each)
Provide timely feedback and academic support to students
Collaborate with colleagues while also maintaining the ability to work independently
 Contribute to building an inclusive, respectful, and collaborative school culture

Requirements:
Native English speaker
Bachelor’s degree or above in English Literature, Linguistics, Education, or a related field
Professional teaching qualification (PGCE, teaching license, or equivalent preferred)
 Minimum 2 years of experience teaching IB English A or B (preferred)
Strong understanding of IB curriculum and assessment practices
Ability to manage diverse classrooms and tailor instruction to varied learning needs
Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and teamwork

Working Schedule & Holidays
Our school is government-owned, and we observe only Chinese national holidays (e.g., no Christmas or Thanksgiving break)
 Summer break starts mid-July
Teachers receive approximately 10 weeks of paid leave annually
