IBDP Physics Teacher

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Native English-speaking IBDP Physics Teacher to join an international school in Nanjing. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality IB Diploma Programme Physics instruction and supporting students’ academic success.

Key Responsibilities
Teach IBDP Physics to high school students
Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the IB Diploma Programme framework
Support students with Internal Assessments (IA), exam preparation, and academic development
Develop inquiry-based and student-centered learning activities
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
Collaborate with the Science Department on curriculum planning and school initiatives

Requirements
Native English speaker
Bachelor’s degree or above in Physics, Education, or related field
Minimum 2 years of IBDP Physics teaching experience required
Teaching qualification (PGCE / QTS / state license or equivalent) preferred
Experience with international curricula preferred
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Passionate about international education and student development
