Position: IBDP Physics Teacher

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated IBDP Physics Teacher to join our international high school program in Nanjing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching IB Diploma Programme Physics, a solid understanding of inquiry-based learning, and a passion for inspiring students to explore scientific concepts deeply and independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach IBDP Physics to Grades 11–12 students.

Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the IB curriculum framework.

Prepare students for both Internal and External Assessments in IBDP Physics.

Support students in developing research, analytical, and experimental skills through laboratory and project-based learning.

Participate in curriculum planning, moderation, and department meetings.

Contribute to school life through advisory duties, clubs, or other extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or above in Physics, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).

Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching IBDP Physics.

Proven ability to guide students successfully through the IBDP assessment process.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Native-level English proficiency preferred.
