Job Description:


As an ICT & Computer Science teacher, you build a strong foundation, stimulating and encouraging students' natural curiosity. You teach design strategies and methodologies, organization of data, and common algorithms, preparing them for success in future AP testing. You help them make connections between subjects and apply concepts to different situations. You also collaborate with fellow teachers to incorporate and enhance student learning by blending content with other subjects, such as art or history.

You will also:
• Foster meaningful relationships with each student to ensure a personalized and successful learning trajectory
• Guide students in pursuing academic achievement, personal responsibility, and intellect
• Pursue continuous professional growth by participating in ongoing professional development, collaborating with colleagues, and staying informed on the latest educational techniques and best practices in your field
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative school community

What We Are Looking For:
• A Bachelor’s degree in the teaching subject or related field
o Master’s or higher is preferred
• A minimum of two years teaching experience as the lead teacher in a classroom
• An eagerness and willingness to collaborate with and elevate teaching colleagues
• High academic standards

A qualified candidate should possess strong ICT-CS skills. A background in Design/Technology teaching and familiarity with ISTE standards is preferable, as well as experience with at least one programming language, block-based coding, and CSTA standards.
