ICT teacher.

1. Teaching and Learning:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in ICT and Computer Science for students across various year groups, including [e.g., IGCSE, IB DP Computer Science, or MYP Digital Design].
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, including those who are EAL learners and high-achievers.
Integrate technology seamlessly into the curriculum to enhance learning outcomes across subject areas.

2. Curriculum Development:

Contribute to the development, review, and enhancement of the ICT/Computer Science curriculum in alignment with the school's philosophy and relevant program standards (e.g., IB, Cambridge).
Stay current with emerging technologies, educational trends, and best practices in digital pedagogy.
3. Assessment and Reporting:

Design and implement a variety of formative and summative assessment strategies to evaluate student progress.
Provide timely, constructive, and meaningful feedback to students to support their academic growth.
Maintain accurate records of student achievement and write comprehensive reports for parents and administrators.
4. Pastoral and Co-curricular Involvement:

Serve as a Homeroom Advisor or Tutor, providing pastoral care and academic guidance to a group of students.
Lead or support co-curricular activities such as coding clubs, robotics teams, hackathons, or digital arts societies.
5. Professional and Community Engagement:

Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the department and across other subject areas.
Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
Communicate proactively and build strong, positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a closely related field.
A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Teaching License, B.Ed.).
A minimum of 2-3 years of successful teaching experience in ICT/Computer Science at the secondary level, preferably in an international school setting.
Strong knowledge of core ICT and Computer Science concepts, including but not limited to:

Programming (e.g., Python, Java, Scratch)
Computer Systems and Networks
Data Science and Representation
Web Development and Digital Media
Cybersecurity and Digital Citizenship
Proficiency in using a range of educational technology tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, LMS like ManageBac or Canvas).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
A commitment to student-centered, inquiry-based learning.
