About IFS:

As an integral part of Intel's new IDM2.0 strategy, we are establishing Intel Foundry Services (IFS), a fully vertical, standalone foundry business, reporting directly to the CEO. IFS will be a world-class foundry business and major provider of US and European-based capacity to serve customers globally. Intel Foundry Services will be differentiated from other Foundry offerings with a combination of leading-edge packaging and process technology, committed capacity in the US and Europe - available for customers globally - and a world-class IP portfolio that customers can chose from including x86 cores, graphics, media, display, AI, interconnect, fabric and other critical foundational IP, along with ARM and RISC-V ecosystem IPs. IFS will also provide access to silicon design services to help our customers seamlessly turn silicon into solutions, using industry standard design packages. This business unit is completely dedicated to the success of its customers with full P and L responsibilities. This model will ensure that our foundry customers' products will receive our utmost focus in terms of service, technology enablement and capacity commitments. IFS is already engaged with customers today starting with our existing foundry offerings and we are expanding imminently to include our most advanced technologies, which are optimized for cutting-edge performance, making them ideal for high-performance applications.

About the Role:

Intel Foundry Services is looking for a highly collaborative and experienced Business Development Manager with proven foundry background to join the EMEA Business Development Team, part of the IFS Worldwide Business Development organization.
You will be reporting to the Senior Business Development Director EMEA and supporting to scope, develop and close customer opportunities across the EMEA Semiconductor Industry. Your specific focus will be on driving technical and customer specific value proposition and business discussions.
This role requires deep knowledge and understanding of the foundry industry (customers and ecosystem), business development on a global scale, and a comprehensive understanding of design and manufacturing solutions in order to develop and implement a winning IFS strategy with targeted semiconductor customers in region.
A close cooperation with the EMEA Sales and Marketing team and the IFS Customer engineering team is required.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive and crisp strategy to win targeted Semiconductor customers in EMEA for IFS.

  • Position Intel foundry capabilities - Process, IP, Design Services at those key EMEA vertical market segment in partnership with Intel Sales and marketing teams

  • Bring the insights and requirements from the industry back to improve and evolve IFS offerings to service the customer needs.

  • Review customer activity, anticipate customer technical and commercial needs, and improve customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with IFS HQ Business Development team.

  • Drive close alignment with the IFS EMEA organization and the SMG team for a OneVoice communication towards customers.

  • Support the IFS EMEA Business Director in reaching ambitious IFS BD goals

Qualifications

Qualifications Required:

  • 15+ years of industry experience including direct experience with the EMEA semiconductor industry on foundry, business development, sales and marketing

  • Established network and relationships in the European semiconductor and foundry ecosystem


Qualifications Desired:

  • MBA Or Master's degree in an Engineering discipline with domain experience

  • Proven leadership capabilities in a multi-cultural and cross-functional team environment

  • English a must, multi-languages a benefit

  • Ability to translate customer needs and IFS capabilities to a join win-win situation

  • Experience in developing auto electronics products/solutions for large scale deployment
