Key Responsibilities:
Teach English Language and/or English Literature at the IGCSE and A-Level levels, following the Cambridge curriculum.

Develop lesson plans that promote analytical reading, academic writing, critical thinking, and discussion skills.

Guide students in understanding complex literary texts, writing essays, and mastering exam techniques.

Prepare students for internal assessments, IGCSE and A-Level examinations, including mock tests and revision strategies.

Track student progress through assignments, feedback, and formal reports.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages student participation and intellectual curiosity.

Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to support student success.

Participate in departmental planning, staff meetings, and school-wide academic initiatives.

Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with curriculum changes and teaching practices.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, English Literature, Education, or a related field (required).

Minimum 2 years of experience teaching English at the IGCSE or A-Level level.

Strong knowledge of the Cambridge curriculum (CAIE) and assessment standards.

Fluent or native-level English proficiency.

Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in international or bilingual schools.

Cambridge Teaching Certification (e.g., CIE Professional Development Certificates).

Familiarity with blended or digital learning platforms.

Experience coaching students for external writing or speech competitions (e.g., MUN, debate, writing contests).
