The task of IKEA Components within IKEA is to pursue the development of future unique and customer-friendly solutions within fittings and components to the IKEA range. We create substantial cost and quality benefits for IKEA in our development and supply of raw materials, components and fittings. IKEA Components is part of the Inter IKEA group and shares the IKEA vision and values. Our business is global and employs 1500 people based in Sweden, Slovakia and China. Through co-operation with IKEA Purchasing and Logistic areas, we are also represented at several other sites around the world.
Job Description
ASSIGNMENTS:
Responsible for Financial & Management (operational) reporting, communicating financial and business results, insights, recommendations and goal achievement in a clear and inspiring way, making business analysis available and actionable;
Securing that the company has access to all needed knowledge and expertise within the finance area
Secure compliance with accounting and tax laws and legal rules and standards and with Inter IKEA financial policies & procedures and internal work instructions
Secure that presented figures and analyses in all reports are correct and give a true and fair picture of business performance
Responsible within the unit for financial planning (budgeting and forecasting)
Lead and develop financial and business performance management framework for the unit and the translation of business plans into goals, steering towards a balanced totality. Secure relevant performance reporting and follow-up, lead fact-based decision making and actively work to increase the overall business performance understanding. Identify potentials for business improvement, new opportunities and business risks
Be an active partner in action planning by providing market, consumer and business insights, identifying opportunities and risks and by supporting with scenario planning, modelling, risk assessment and contingency planning.
Facilitate a strong performance culture where deviations are detected early and acted upon and insights from business performance reach the right receivers at the right time
Initiate and participate in the development of tools and working methods, to support all functions in the Component Business & P&D.
Responsible for sharing reliable navigation information, relevant conclusions, business insights and recommendations with key stakeholders in order to take proactive and/or corrective actions (both year cycle based and ad hoc)
Lead safety and security processes in the company and make sure we follow internal and external demands, with main goal to secure a safe place to work and a secure environment for our business
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE
Understanding the IKEA Components Business model and IKEA Ways of Working
University degree in Business Administration/Economy and deep knowledge and experience in Finance & Navigation
Good knowledge in the legal framework for accounting and tax
Experience in business system (M3 is a plus, but not required)
Management and leadership experience in operations
Good English (writing & speaking)
- Understanding of the IKEA business model, strategic landscape and IKEA Ways of working
