Job Description
  • Maintain complete knowledge of:
    • All hotel features / services, hours of operation
    • Hotel function space, entertainment options, menus and floral decoration options
    • Hotel safety guidelines and evacuation plan
    • Scheduled daily group activities
  • Promote positive relations with guests and employees
  • Accommodate all guest requests expediently and courteously
  • Acknowledge all customers and handle guest complaints to their satisfaction
  • Answer incoming phone calls in a pleasant manner using Raffles telephone etiquette
  • Handle telephone enquiries according to departmental procedure
  • Review in-house guest list and be familiar with guest names and room locations
  • Follow-up with in-house guest to ensure on-going service to the guest
  • Develop professional relationships with key players in the designated Market segment to build business
  • Liaise with banquet team to ensure correct set-up of function to meet guests needs
  • Arrange site inspections for potential guests
  • Maintain high level of knowledge of the competition's product
  • Maintain good relationships with counterparts at competing hotels; promote all Raffles Hotels whenever possible
