Job Description
- Maintain complete knowledge of:
- All hotel features / services, hours of operation
- Hotel function space, entertainment options, menus and floral decoration options
- Hotel safety guidelines and evacuation plan
- Scheduled daily group activities
- Promote positive relations with guests and employees
- Accommodate all guest requests expediently and courteously
- Acknowledge all customers and handle guest complaints to their satisfaction
- Answer incoming phone calls in a pleasant manner using Raffles telephone etiquette
- Handle telephone enquiries according to departmental procedure
- Review in-house guest list and be familiar with guest names and room locations
- Follow-up with in-house guest to ensure on-going service to the guest
- Develop professional relationships with key players in the designated Market segment to build business
- Liaise with banquet team to ensure correct set-up of function to meet guests needs
- Arrange site inspections for potential guests
- Maintain high level of knowledge of the competition's product
- Maintain good relationships with counterparts at competing hotels; promote all Raffles Hotels whenever possible
