Located in Vance, Alabama, the MBUSI facility is one of the most advanced automotive manufacturing facilities in the world, comprised of over 6 million square feet and currently employs over 3,800 Team Members. The MBUSI plant in Tuscaloosa is the traditional home of SUV production for the current GLE, GLE coupé, and GLS model series. Since June 2014, the plant has also produced the C-Class for the North American market. The plant in Alabama was the first major Mercedes-Benz production facility outside Germany and is regarded as the nucleus of the automotive industry in Alabama.

Essential Functions:
- Organization and preparation of meetings
- Creation of presentations for the top management level of Supply Chain
- Detailed description of the projects and assignments (to be advertised online)
- Preparation of weekly & monthly reports for management summaries
- Creation, Monitoring and Populating of KPI's
- Support team in several tasks
- Assistance in several projects
- in the Executive Office of Vice President Logistics

Education:
Student in:
Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management
Necessary Skills, Certifications, etc.:
- Fluent in English (oral/written)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint skills)
Preferred Skills: - SAP knowledge
- Logistics background
- Mercedes Know - How (R&D, Documentation)
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Team-oriented
- Self-reliant

Preferred Start Date:
We offer different positions within the Supply Chain department with the following start dates:
- Beginning of January
- Mid of February
- End of February
- Mid of March

Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in University or in a gap year between Bachelor’s and Master’s degree
- Studies outside of the U.S.A.
- A minimum of 3 semesters of studies in relevant field of study
- Available for a minimum of 6 months
