Functions
- Support Product Engineering team during the trial and ramp up phases of a new vehicle launch
- Data collection, problem solving, using basic root cause analysis and the use of software applications that manage 3D part data, bill of materials, and all required part specifications
- Creating/managing a failure mode database based on specific component designs
Education
Student in: Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering
Necessary Skills, Certifications, etc.
- Fluent in English (oral/written)
- Ability to create reports and PowerPoint presentations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Part development and/or manufacturing knowledge
- Experience with gages and measurement tools
- Proficient in Excel
- Ability to read detailed technical drawings - GD&T
Preferred Start Date
September 2020
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in University or in a gap year between Bachelor’s and Master’s degree
- Studies outside of the U.S.A.
- A minimum of 3 semesters of studies in relevant field of study
- Available for a minimum of 6 months
- Fluent in English (oral/written)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
