Located in Vance, Alabama, the MBUSI facility is one of the most advanced automotive manufacturing facilities in the world, comprised of over 6 million square feet and currently employs over 3,800 Team Members. The MBUSI plant in Tuscaloosa is the traditional home of SUV production for the current GLE, GLE coupé, and GLS model series. Since June 2014, the plant has also produced the C-Class for the North American market. The plant in Alabama was the first major Mercedes-Benz production facility outside Germany and is regarded as the nucleus of the automotive industry in Alabama.

Functions:
- Technical project support ( workshop organization)  

- Development/Adaption of an equipment inventory / tracking system for the MOE equipment

- Support new model launch (trail preparation support)

- Preparation of project documents (excel sheets, power point presentations etc.)

- Preparation of vehicles: communication with several departments and organization of transportation

- Review of daily KPI reports

- Participation in shop floor meetings

Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel and Power point)

- Teamoriented, good verbal communication skills and self-reliant

- Preferred automotive knowledge (car line project expirence)

- Driver license is required


Education: Student in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering

Necessary Skills, Certifications, etc.:
- Fluent in English (oral/written)

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Requirements
- Currently enrolled in University or in a gap year between Bachelor's and Master’s degree

- A minimum of 3 semesters of studies in relevant field of study

- Available for a minimum of 6 months
