Summer/Fall 2022 Power & Performance (PnP) internship available at Intel Corporation IOTG group within our larger Network and Edge Group. The objective of this internship is to collect the power and performance for current and next generation Intel Si IPs including, but not limited to CPU, GPU, VPU, Memory etc.
Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.

Length of internship: Minimum of 3 months with the possibility to extend it as per business' needs.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidate
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's or an Associate's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering/Electronics or equivalent in other related field
3+ months of experience or equivalent coursework in any of the following areas:
- Programming (C/python programming, inline assembly, scripting), and operating system (Linux)
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ months of experience or equivalent coursework in the following areas:
- Good understanding of IA architecture, Performance projections include MP/MT workloads, CPU micro architecture & Memory technologies (CPU cache hierarchy and pipeline, Memory addressing schemes, bank and rank mapping, and PCI system architecture)
- Schematic and board level design
- Knowledge with power consumption analysis, power modeling and power estimation
- User level experience with both Linux and Windows
- Knowledge of workloads and power/performance characterization

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$52,000.00-$147,000.00 (Hourly Role)

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
