Since 01.07.2018, Daimler AG's IP rights (patents, trademarks, designs and domains) have been registered, managed, exploited, defended and enforced at Daimler Brand & IP Management GmbH & Co. KG (Daimler IP). This is the first time that this topic has been bundled in a dedicated unit - a cross-brand and cross-technology IP competence center.
The Global IP Enforcement division within Daimler IP is responsible for the worldwide enforcement of IP infringements (patents, trademarks, designs and domains) of Daimler AG, in particular anti-counterfeiting.
- Your tasks in detail:
- Responsible for the enforcement of intellectual property infringements (patents, trademarks and designs) of Daimler AG in the markets of Asia (especially China and Southeast Asia)
- Adaptation and implementation of the global IP enforcement strategy in identified focus markets of this region
- Identification of property rights infringements
- Initiation and coordination of out-of-court and judicial enforcement activities, including the management of internal and external resources (investigators and lawyers)
- Advising the business units on patent, trademark and design law issues with a focus on anti-counterfeiting
- Qualifications:
- Law degree (1st and 2nd state examination), business lawyer or comparable qualification with immediate background IP Enforcement / Brand Protection
- Several years of practical experience in IP Enforcement / Brand Protection
- Business fluent German and English in spoken and written
- Good language skills in Chinese (Mandarin) desirable

- Analytical, independent and results-oriented work
- Project management
- Team player
