Passionate Pre-silicon IP System Validation Engineer who is motivated to work on cutting edge Soft IP's related to Consumer, System IO, and Edge solutions. The experienced engineer is expected to deliver robust and high-quality soft IP with security functionalities using FPGA based early prototyping and emulation validation hardware.

The responsibilities cover:
- development of validation strategies and plans, and execution for various security engines' RTL validation.
- provide guidance and help in validation environment bring-up and troubleshooting which involve FPGA boards, test cards and debug tools.
- deliver proper documentation for validation strategies, plans, best-known methods and learning.
- keep validation lead and architect updated about milestone progress, challenges, risks and schedule impact with integrity.

Qualifications

Candidate must possess a Bachelor or higher degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent with at least 5-6 years of relevant work experience.

Additional qualifications include any of the following:
- Ability to develop using C/C++ and familiarity with other programming/scripting languages such as Python and Perl.
- Ability to comprehend RTL logic written using Verilog/VHDL.
- Hands-on experience with hardware and software debugging tools.
- Ability to comprehend the content of technical specifications for architecture, microarchitecture, registers and schematic.
- Good at written and verbal communication, and proactive in identifying risks and seeking/offering help.
- In-depth knowledge and proficiency in any of the following
- computer architecture preferably x86
- SoC or IP architecture preferably related to IO protocols, security, boot flow and interrupts
- FPGA or emulation tools, flow and methodology
- product development lifecycle and related engineering processes
- Agile development methodology

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
