The IPG Sr Financial Analyst drives consolidating and interpreting IP Engineering headcount, spending and GSD for a global organization that delivers a broad portfolio of IP to Client and Data Centric products. As a key member of IPG Finance you will communicate budget variances, trends, and risks and opportunities to IPG Sr. Finance Management and Ops Stakeholders. During Close and forecasting cycles, the IPG Sr Financial Analyst engages with IPG Ops Managers and the DEG Central FP&A team by developing/managing requirements, reporting out to IPG Sr. Finance Management and supporting Corp FP&A Close and forecasting initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting the quarterly Close cycles for IPG Opex Spending, evaluating trends and risk/opportunities.
Supporting the IPG FP&A team during Close; developing/managing business insights and priority business drivers for Horizontal/Vertical lines of Business and reporting out to IPG Sr. Finance Management.
Improving spending control and forecasting accuracy for Headcount, burden, goods/services/depreciation, discretionary spending and IP spending allocation methodologies.
Partnering with IPG Strategic Finance team on projects including IP valuation, internal & external IP roadmaps, identifying and driving efficiency opportunities.
Driving IPG one-voice efficiencies and standardization/automation across Close and Forecasting cycles.
Supporting Ad Hoc projects/analysis with BU and Engineering teams (Dashboards to facilitate decision velocity. Process controls and quantitative/qualitative metrics)
Supporting finance initiatives for Finance Transformation Close activities.

Willingness to work within Power BI is a plus.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field
2+ years of relevant experience
Intermediate Excel level
Preferred qualifications:
Previous FP&A experience highly desired
MBA degree, or MBA candidates encouraged to apply

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
