Intel is seeking highly qualified candidates to join our Data Center and AI group (DCAI) working on pathfinding across our Data Center portfolio, with a focus on IPUs (Infrastructure Processing Units), SoCs and end-to-end systems. This Architecture Pathfinding role is part of the Office of the CTO inside of DCAI.
The candidate would be expected to participate in brainstorming, defining, modeling and building POCs across a variety of technologies. These may span networking protocols, SoC construction and new accelerator use cases. This role is specifically trying to take concepts to crisp product proposals, that can be realized in the next-generation products being built across DCAI and our Networking and Edge Group (NEX). In this position you will gain invaluable experience, which will allow growth and expanded opportunities within this business group, as well as future possible opportunities with other business groups within Intel.

Qualifications
Candidate must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork, classes, research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree + 4 years work experience or PHD in a field of computer architecture, computer science or networking.
RTL and/or FPGA development experience
Networking protocol expertise
Strong software skills (C++, Python, etc.)

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
