Information Technology department executes and delivers in all aspects of IT changes. All changes are implemented with strategic and operational alignment of local and Daimler regional requirements.
The successful candidate should be a part of Digital Transformation strategy which is owned by his/her supervisor, and will own all aspects of IT and Business changes that are in line with Daimler and IT’s strategic and operational requirements for MPC business, especially for digitalization topics & IT Landscape. We can work with outside vendors, counterparts within global Daimler organization, other department staffs and supporters.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of the strategic application and technology landscape. This includes information and business architecture aspects. They are responsible for design and development of technology architecture, solution and roadmap, with understanding the business requirements and builds robust, reliable and scalable solutions.
Tasks of this position：
1. Project & Product Management
2. Take responsibility to ensure adequate outcomes for the projects in line with business objectives.

3. Choose the correct PM methodology (Waterfall/Agile) in accordance with the objectives.

4. Manage the Category-A&B project in accordance with Daimler PM methodology.

5. Communicate and manage the expectation from each stakeholder.

6. Report the project by using Daimler Standard System.
7. Lead project members, vendors and supporters to accomplish the project goal in each of the project phases.

8. IT Application Landscape & Architecture management9. Evaluates technologies, best practices and patterns to design solutions

10. Plan and manage MBJ application roadmap, including methodology and alignment of global architecture strategy

11. Optimize IT Landscape in line with implementation and rollout activities based on regional/global roadmap.

12. Monitor effectiveness of strategy and initiate necessary adaptations to IT Landscape strategy process.

13. Plans, designs and maintains the enterprise architecture which is aligned with business mission and strategy

14. Works with business analyst, project managers and technical members to refine requirements and convert them into architectural blueprint with reliable, secure and scalable technical solutions


15. Financial Management for IT Architecture related activities16. Control budget on project level.

17. Consolidate, review, finalize and submit onetime & run budget planning together with supervisor.

18. Perform a deviation analysis.


19. Demand Management, Solution & Architecture Design20. Research future business demand and IT trend to prepare the best fit solution and IT Infrastructure.

21. Design Digital application & IT Architecture based on the business demand and align with Daimler Standard requirements.

22. Establish, communicate, and lead decision making process of implementation.


23. Service Delivery24. Supervise and support the person in charge and/or IT partners who are responsible for IT Delivery in terms of hardware/software change, from architecture design point of view.

26. Promotes the use of a shared infrastructure and application roadmap to reduce costs and improve how information flows
27. Researches and maintains knowledge in emerging technologies and solutions to solve business problems
