Job Summary:

• Provide applications production support and maintain a stable application production environment.
• Ensure all support and management processes are in compliant with DB standard procedures, and ensuring a robust and stable production environment is maintained.
  

Primary Responsibilities:

Working as part of the Production Services team, the role and responsibilities include:

• To manage and support Production environments.
• Review and support implementation of Production change.
• Promote more adaptive, responsive and agile functions aimed towards a stable Production environment.
• Manage production incident involving application supported and perform necessary communications & escalations to stakeholders.
• Perform initial trouble investigation/shooting and take support from L2 (CTB)/ L3 (Vendor) team if required.
• Ensure all issues/problems/incidents are logged, reviewed and closed in reasonable time.
• Address all system gaps (reported or self-identified) are prioritized and closed accordingly.
• Support DR, TRM & Audit related activities.
• Monitor H/W, S/W, Application components health regularly, review and take appropriate actions
• Liaise with various IT teams (both application and infrastructure) for any crisis which impacts application production environment and its Infrastructure.
• Stay up to date with market benchmarks/standards and service offerings.
• Track, resolve and document all Application issues. Review and implement proper backup/restore/retention procedures for Application data.
• Support all server / database patching
• DR planning and execution
• Work closely with the Vendor Team members to meet the above responsibilities
  

Qualification & Experience required

• Sound knowledge of 3 tier application infrastructure / hosting requirements
• 6-12 years of hands-on experience supporting banking/financial applications.
• Experience supporting Custody application will be an advantage.
• Knowledge required on application servers / webservers / database / Operating system / Storage / Networks
• Experience in performance tuning across various middleware components will be an advantage
• Know-how of data center procedures / policies
• Good team player
• Conversant with both Chinese and English language.
• Ability to work against tight deadlines
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Ability to work in international virtual teams and in matrix structures
