Retail Solutions team aimed to provide IT solutions to empower our retail business to grow in the fast changing and challenging environment. Our vision is to benefit our business by building fast and stable applications, structuring a lean and simplified IT landscape, enabling business innovation with emerging technology and sharing the success in China to Daimler global.
Taking this role of OTR+ is responsible for software development, technical governance and quality assurance. The position integrates the competency to build and deliver the software (OTR+) for business partners in sales and aftersales domain. The further development of technological and methodical skills in an agile environment therefore is essential. Screening and evaluating technologies to support OTR+ use cases is another key responsibility.
Task description
1. Technical Leadership
• Provide transparency on usage of technology and share new technical knowledge and experience
• Continuously screen IT technologies as well as digital innovations
• Evaluate the usage of new technologies to support business requirements
2. Delivery Management
• Continuously assess the development process and adapt planning tools, agile methods and communication to ensure a successful and sustainable delivery
• Ensure smooth collaboration between development team, IT product owner and BUs
• Ensure smooth collaboration between development team and 3rd parties, where applicable
• Create transparency and predictability across the development teams in a lean way using appropriate tool and metrics able to drive result individually and cooperation with others
3. Operation Tasks
• Co-work with team members to achieve operation and release/project objectives
• Ensure the relevant company guiding principle and process are implemented in operation work and documented
• Effectively communicate and contribute in teamwork constructively and positively support department initiatives and tasks
4. Compliance
• Be compliant for IT controls of the required applications and ensure full compliance
