Office: Cluster Information Technology Section, New Territories West Cluster (NTWC)

Pay :
HK$16,007 to HK$23,378 (HGPS Point 3 to 9) per month including Monthly Allowance (See Remark 2)

Job :

1.
Perform hardware and software installation.

2.
Provide technical and user support on hospital IT Systems, desktop & office automation applications, network infrastructure, etc.

3.
Assist in HA corporate system implementation and planning in hospitals.

4.
Co-ordinate with users and vendors on network installation and site preparation.

5.
Perform daily operations in Hospital Data Centre.

6.
Administer LAN, network and computer equipment configuration.

7.
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements :

1.
(a)
Passes in 5 Subjects including English Language (Syllabus B) & Mathematics in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination,
or equivalent.

OR

(b)
5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education attaining the level specified below:
l Level 2 in English Language and Mathematics; and
l Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects / "Attained" in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects under this category/ Grade E in Other Language subjects;
or equivalent.

2.
Completed a recognized diploma or higher course in IT of at least 2 years in duration.


Preferable Attributes :

1.
At least 1 year working experience in IT operation field.

2.
Work independently, good phone manner, communication skill and possesses a positive customer service attitude.

3.
Experience in PC/Server troubleshooting, Windows operating system & office problem handling, account management and WLAN/LAN support in hospital environment.

4.
Familiar with MS Windows 7/10 & 2008/2012/2016 server and Help Desk operation would be advantageous.


Remarks :

For Serving HA Staff

1.
The selected candidate will be offered either contract or fixed term appointment for 1-3 year(s) depending on his/her existing employment terms. Serving contract employee will be offered contract employment with up to 15% total basic salary (after deduction the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity, subject to satisfactory completion of contract. Serving permanent employee will be offered a fixed term appointment after which the employee may be reverted back to his/her former substantive rank.

2.
The offer of salary and allowance (Cash Allowance, Fixed-flexi Allowance, or Monthly Allowance) for serving employees upon changes in appointment will be determined based on the remuneration package/employment terms of the staff concerned and prevailing policies.

For External Applicants

3.
Appointment will be on contract terms for 1-3 year(s). Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered upon satisfactory completion of contract.

4.
Retiring / retired HA staff who wish to continue working for HA after their normal retirement may also apply. If selected, the terms and conditions of employment will be offered in accordance with prevailing policies of the Retired and Rehire Mechanism of HA.

For All Applicants

5.
May require to work over-night shifts and/or provide 24-hour on call support, and when necessary, provide on-site support services at different hospitals.

6.
Job rotation would be arranged for the selected candidate if required.

7.
Selected candidate will be posted in Tin Shui Wai Hospital and may be required to work in another work location to meet service needs of the HA.

8.
Renewal of contract will depend on funding, operational needs and appointee’s performance.
